This position is based within our Crown Complex. Located in the heart of Cumberland County, the Crown Complex is a state-of-the-art, five-venue complex comprised of a 4,500-seat arena, a 9,200-square foot ballroom, a 10,880-seat coliseum, an exposition center with 60,000 square feet of unobstructed space and a 2,440-seat theatre. Managed by Spectra Venue Management, the Complex is home to the Fayetteville Marksmen hockey team (SPHL) and Cape Fear Heroes indoor football team (AAL) and hosts a variety of other sporting events, family shows, concerts and special productions year-round. The flagship venue of the Crown Complex, the Coliseum, opened in October of 1997 and has continued to set records. This managerial position reports to the General Manager and is responsible for assisting in the administration, planning, budgeting and direction for the operations of the Center including front and back of house services, technical services, information technology, conversion, custodial services, and equipment inventory control. Insures an effective and cost efficient program by controlling the Operations budget, and performs related day to day responsibilities as required.
Coordinates all elements of facility operations including budgeting, purchasing, directs the operation and maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, HVAC, custodial, grounds, sound, lighting, a/v equipment, tele-communications systems, security, smoke/fire detectors and traffic control. Manager will serve as facility safety chairman to maintain a safe and secure facility for the public and employees.
