This position is based at our PPL Center. PPL Center is a state-of-the-art multipurpose venue in downtown Allentown, PA. The arena seats more than 10,000 for concerts and more than 8,500 for Lehigh Valley Phantoms professional hockey games, making it the region's largest events venue. The amenities-packed PPL Center, which includes more than 50 premium spaces (suites, loges, party areas) depending on the event, will host more than 150 events each year, offering something for everyone, including the Phantoms, the AHL affiliate of the NHL Philadelphia Flyers, concerts, family shows, trade shows, youth sports, high school and collegiate events, Disney on Ice, conferences, graduations and many more events. The primary responsibility of this position is guest safety and the security of PPL Center with an emphasis on guest service. It is the responsibility of the Event Security Staff to enforce all rules, regulations and policies of the PPL Center. The essential functions of this position are usually performed indoors and occasionally outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environments is usually moderate to loud to during events and minimal during non-events.
