  • Overview

    The Treasury Manager supports the Controller in the company’s treasury management function.  The Treasury Manager will manage the company’s cash budget and engage in daily cash forecasting and planning with the goal of optimizing the company’s cash flow.  In addition, the Treasury Manager will be an integral part of maintaining positive relationships with banks and financial institutions, and will also work closely with executive management to ensure appropriate financial systems are in place and functioning as intended.   


    Primary responsibilities include management of cash balances across multi-bank platforms and weekly forecasting of upcoming cash inflows and outflows, all with the goal of achieving optimal use of cash for operating needs, capital purchase needs, and debt repayment. 


    Strong analytical and organizational skills are imperative, and he/she must be able to handle several projects simultaneously while providing leadership to the accounting team.

    • Manage daily cash balances and bank reporting
    • Manage cash concentrations and sweeps
    • Forecast cash receipts across the business on a weekly basis
    • Analyze and forecast weekly operating cash needs
    • Forecast upcoming capital investment needs
    • Forecast debt principal and interest requirements
    • Maintenance of bank account inventory listing
    • Assist with bank reconciliations
    • Assist with maintenance of banking relationships
    • Assist with reconciliation and management of P-Card payment program
    • Assist with annual cash flow budget and performance against budget
    • Maintain policies to ensure adequate control over treasury activities
    • Advise senior management through weekly cash reports
    • Assist with setup of new bank accounts
    • Assist with control of banking authorities
    • Assist with maintenance of managed cash accounts
    • Assist with various special projects


    • BA or BS in Accounting
    • CPA certification preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
    • Superior Excel skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills

    Intellectual/Social demands:

    • While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including: following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. Employees in this role will constantly be in leadership role; this requires directing others either verbally or in writing to complete tasks in prescribed time frame.  This position also requires constant use of interpersonal skills including: ability to direct/motivate/inform staff and foster collaboration, being able to recognize and resolve conflicts, being able to openly communicate in writing and verbally with clients.

    Physical demands:

    • While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee constantly operates a computer and other office devices such telephones, copy machines, fax machines, etc; occasionally moves about inside the office to access storage areas, cabinets and office machinery; constantly moves about the arena and event sites before, during and after events to service clients and supervise staff; constantly communicates via telephone, email and in-person with others to exchange accurate information.


    Work environment:

    • The duties of this position are performed indoors and occasionally outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environments is usually moderate to loud during events and minimal during non-even times.
