As the Receptionist, you are to provide high quality reception service and a wide range of administrative support services for Angel Of The Winds Arena.


This position is based at our Angel of the Winds Arena. Angel of the Winds Arena is a multi-purpose complex, in Everett, Washington, designed and developed by the Everett Public Facilities District. The 10,000-seat venue has hosted a variety of concerts and other types of performances.   • Greet visitors and direct to appropriate departments
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages or redirect calls as appropriate
  • Respond to general customer questions or comments
  • Support all staff as requested
  • Retrieve and distribute incoming mail
  • Prepare outgoing mail and shipments
  • Manage all aspects of the postal machine including general maintenance, changing postal rates, adding currency and preparing monthly postage reports
  • Maintain a system for receiving goods and supplies and ensuring efficient dispatch to the appropriate department
  • Type memos, correspondence, reports and other documents as requested
  • Ensure that appropriate levels of stationary and office supplies are available at all times
  • Responsible for smooth operation of office equipment including ordering of supplies, scheduling regular maintenance and calling technicians as needed
  • Ensure that the reception area is kept neat and welcoming for all visitors and staff
  • Ensure workroom area is well maintained, clean and orderly
  • Update and maintain the various procedures for reception duties
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • Proven customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and make limited decisions based upon company guidelines
  • Ability to handle information in a confidential manner
  • General office experience required including working knowledge of current office software
  • Previous reception experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted
