Overview

The Director of Talent Acquisition partners with the operational leads of the organization in order to attract the top talent in our food & hospitality industry.   Spectra is a full life-cycle recruitment environment within a multi-national company with over 250 locations, 30  00 FTEs and 20,000+ PTE including, salaried, hourly, and union employees.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recruitment of full-time food & hospitality positions for all lines of business with Spectra.
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment within iCims applicant tracking system
  • Manages a process that includes creative and cost-effective candidate sourcing; behavioral-based interviewing; engaging candidates and communicating in a timely fashion; verbally pre-closing all offers; maintaining proper recruitment status reports and ATS notes
  • Manages relationships with hiring managers; facilitates the recruitment process; assists team with extending and negotiating offers according to organizational guidelines; maintains open requisitions and all pertinent applicant and interview data to comply with OFCCP/AA guidelines on a timely basis.
  • Cultivate and foster successful partnerships with operational leaders, HR business partners and department heads through the consistent delivery of high-end client service
  • Partner with your clients in order to understand their needs and provide consultation on talent acquisition strategies relating to their challenges
  • Develop effective and sustainable sourcing and research strategies to fill a broad array of openings in order to meet/exceed client expectations
  • Own strategic and critical hiring requisitions and as needed to insure overall hiring needs are met
  • Develop effective working relationships and partner with business leaders at all levels of the organization Act as point of contact for the TA team and hiring managers in relation to all things recruitment
  • Order pre-employment checks as needed
  • Proactively source, review resumes/profiles, conduct phone screens and schedule interviews
  • Initiate offer letter requests to be reviewed by Human Resources and Hiring Managers
  • Generate weekly jobs reports
  • Assist other projects and tasks related to developing Talent Acquisition as a strategic function of the business
  • Ensure recruiting processes are aligned with Spectra’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 4+ years of full life-cycle recruitment
  • High-volume recruitment experience
  • Experience with ATS (iCims experience a plus)
  • Proficient in Windows environment required with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Must be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented, focused
  • Ability to be flexible, change directions
  • Strong work ethic is critical
