The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for soliciting, securing, and fulfilling sponsorship partners and Premium Seating agreements on behalf of the XL Center & Hartford Wolf Pack (Hartford, CT) and Pratt & Whitney Stadium (East Hartford, CT).  Basic functions include corporate partnership sales and servicing along with finding ways to grow revenue for both venues while maintaining high levels of client services.



  • Responsible for developing sales action plans to ensure hitting individual & departmental budgets
  • Responsible for prospecting, selling, and maintaining the corporate sponsorships & premium seating for both venues and the Hartford Wolf Pack in both new and renewal business
  • Responsible for working closely with members of the Hartford Wolf Pack staff to ensure that all expectations are being met for the corporate partners
  • Responsible for soliciting new cash partnerships
  • Responsible for making cold calls & sales presentations decks for both venues, Hartford Wolf Pack & Premium Seating
  • Responsible for overseeing/executing all aspects of corporate partnership fulfillment
  • Responsible for working with outside vendors to get corporate partnerships signage created & placed
  • Responsible for creating season recaps for corporate partners, when applicable
  • Responsible for servicing all corporate sponsorships through various means including direct contact, newsletters, presentations, corporate partner gatherings, etc.
  • Responsible for creating new client initiatives to better serve the corporate partners
  • Responsible for the design of sales proposals and presentations for potential corporate partners
  • Responsible for creating and implementing new ideas and opportunities that will drive revenues
  • Work with the marketing departments on opportunities to cross sell corporate partners
  • Responsible for tracking prospects, sales, and inventory throughout the season using salesforce and other various tracking reports
  • Responsible for working and attending events, promotions, arena events, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by General Manager of building and VP, Corporate Sales


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in advertising/sponsorship, preferably with a sports team
  • Communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of marketing and advertising/sponsorship program development
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, graphic design, PowerPoint, and Internet software
  • Work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, days, evenings, holidays, extended workdays for an extended number of days as needed
